Ernest Milton "Mick" Fullmer, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, died of Natural Causes December 19, 2003, at the Highland Cove Health Care Center.

Born March 11, 1913, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ernest Carl and Lucy Love Fullmer. He Married his beloved sweetheart Phyllis Wade, June 14, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death August 14, 1983.

Served a church mission in the German/Austrian mission field from 1933 through 1935. Was an active member of the Forest Dale Ward all of his life, where he held many positions, and was also an active ordinance worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from the LDS High School, attended the University of Utah, and was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. Was an ardent fisherman and hunter, being for many years, a member of the Harrison Duck Club and the University Club.

Mick, as he was known, worked in the construction business all of his working life, learning the basics of the building trade from his father, Ernest C. Fullmer, in the Fullmer Brothers Construction Company and the Building Department of the LDS Church Presiding Bishop's Office. He was truly a master builder and craftsman, having built his home on Loveland Avenue, as well as his beloved family cabin at the Pines Ranch on the Smith-Morehouse River.

In 1943, Mick started work as a building inspector for the Salt Lake Office of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), was made Chief Architect in 1946, Assistant Director in 1955, and served as Deputy Director from 1972 until he retired June 28, 1976. He was known as "Mr. FHA" by those in the mortgage lending and the building business, and was well-respected for his thorough knowledge of building construction, FFIA regulations, and mortgage lending.

Funeral Services for Family and Close Friends were held on Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple at 11 A.M. Friends attended a Viewing on Monday, December 22, 2003, from 6-8 P.M. and One Hour Prior To The Funeral Services on Tuesday.
Graveside Services followed at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Holladay, Utah where he was buried.
