Arlene Claire Roop married Max Heare and had a daughter. She later married James Colter and had two more children.

MRS. COLTER, 39, OF DECATUR DIES
Mrs. Arline Colter, 39, wife of James R. Colter of Decatur and sister of Mrs. Richard K. Miller of Bluffton, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at Decatur Hospital. She had been ill several weeks and critically ill one week.
Born Jan. 15, 1925 in Adams County, she was the daughter of Ralph and Zelma Nelson Roop of Decatur, who survive. Her marriage to Mr. Colter took place Nov. 21, 1951. A lifelong resident of Adams County, she was a member of Decatur Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, parents and sister, are three children, Cheryl Suzanne, Brett Lee and Terry James, all at home.
Friends may call at Winteregg-Linn Funeral Home in Decatur after 7 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the Decatur Methodist Church at noon Saturday for services at 1:30 p.m. Rev. A. C. Underwood and Rev. Melvin Seeger will officiate and burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
