Andreas Wendling came from Mittelstrimmig town- Zell Kries-Koblenz District-Hunsruck - Rheinland/Pfalz - Germany to Milwaukee in July 1852 with his wife, Margaretha (JAKOBS) and children born in Mittelstrimmig: Johann Josef 1841, Katharina 1843, Johann Peter 1st 1846-1855, Anna Maria 1846-1846/Germany, and Maria Katharia 1849-1852(who died before coming to Milwaukee)and Johann 1852-1853. He had 5 more children born in Milwaukee: Johann 1852, Thomas 1856, Maria Anna 1858, Elizabeth 1860, and John Peter 2nd 1862-. Andreas is the son of Johannes Wendling and Anna Katharina Kemmer of Zilshausen, Lutz Catholic parish-Germany.
