I'm not certain...but it seems likely this is the grave site of Bertha Leona CANTERBURY, daughter of William & Transylvania (Clagg/Clegg) Canterbury, who married Levi Leland "Lee" FAULKNER in Brown County, TX in 1892, and whose Canterbury relatives were known to be living in the Pioneer area. Leona & Lee were living in the Rising Star area around the time of Leona's apparent death as her youngest daughter was born there in 1904. Her husband Lee was remarried by 1909 to Letty Coulter. If anyone has info to confirm or contradict this, please send me a message.
