He was born at Scotland, Indiana, and spent the greater part of his life in Greene County with the exception of the last five years, which were spent in and around Tampa, Florida, having passed away in the Municipal hospital at that place, in which he received the best of medical aid.
He was married to Edna V. MILLER, February, 1900, and to this union was born two daughters, Mrs. Mary DREIMAN and Mrs. Leonard ROUSCH, both of Santa Cruz, California. Owning to ill health, both were unable to come East.
He leaves two brothers and four sisters, namely: Mrs. Janie BORTER,, of Newberry; Mrs. Elsie HUNTER, Mrs. Lottie WORKMAN and Dick HUFFMAN, all of Bloomfield; Mrs. Nelle KLINGERMAN, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Isaac HUFFMAN, of Massillon, Ohio, and two step-sisters, Mrs. Elpha DECK, of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Minnie ANTIBUS, of Indianapolis, who seemed as near to him as his own sisters. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
He joined the Methodist church of Simpson Chapel when a boy.
Bill was of a friendly and kindly disposition, his greatest pleasure being in meeting his many friends with kind word and smile.
We bid you goodnight here, but good morning up there.
