Daughter of Mary Anne Ernst Wilhelm and Peter Wilhelm (also buried at St. Joseph's) and granddaughter of Albert Ernst and Theresia M. Ernst, after whom she was named. The Ernsts are buried at St. Mary's, outside of Pesotum, and the elder Clers are buried nearby.

Theresia Marie was born on October 21, 1884, in Tolono, Champaign County, and was christened in Pesotum. She married Joseph Cler on October 22, 1907.

Her sister Lucy (Louise Mary) also married a Cler, in 1905; Lucy and her husband are also buried at St. Joseph's.

Theresia Marie died on December 5, 1955, in Tuscola, Douglas County, Illinois, and was buried in Pesotum on December 8th.

This is a two-sided stone; on the other side are Theresia's sister Cecelia A. (Lillie) Wilhelm, and her husband Edward Mougeotte.
