|Birth: ||Dec. 14, 1947|
|Death: ||May 2, 2007|
"Danny" completed his journey on May 2, 2007 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Houston, Texas to Edith and George Artusy, Jr.
He attended Spring Woods High School, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of Houston Bowling Association, and bowled for many years. After three months of suffering a massive stroke he finally got his last wish to come home for just a few short days in the wonderful hands of caregivers.
Danny was a Certified Petroleum Landman for over 30 years and a member of HAPL for many years. He not only enjoyed his work, yet had a tendency to take co-workers under his wing and share his wealth of knowledge in their profession. He especially loved to fish with his son and oldest grandson and spend time with his family. However, let us not forget his true passion of trips to the casino particularly with his cousin and her husband. Danny had a generous heart of gold and will greatly be missed by all that knew him.
PID by father George Daniel Artusy, Jr., and sister, Deborah Perkins. Survivors include his mother, Edith Orlena (nee Beaman) Artusy; sister, Dianne Youngblood; son, Christopher Artusy; daughter, Wendy Carlisle; 2 grandsons, Dylan Artusy and Austin Carlisle, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4th at 1:00 at Clay Road Baptist Church, 9151 Clay Road, Houston. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
