Joseph Reed Skeels-- Joseph Skeels, 78, died Wednesday evening at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a brief illness. He was a native and lifetime resident of Delaware County. He retired in 1969 from the Delaware County Engineering Department where he was employed as a mechanic for 17 years. He was a charter member of the Delaware Moose Lodge. Surviving are his wife Flossie, a son Harold, two daughters Alice of Grove City and Mrs Walter Maier, sisters Edith Campbell, and Mrs. Hazel Davidson. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bennett Brown Funeral Home. Moose Lodge services will be held at 7 PM Friday. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Reverend James Hawkins of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park in Lewis Center, Ohio.
