Interment was in Restland Memorial Park in Livingston.
She was born April 26 1923 in Vernon. She was the adopted daughter of William Bowden Ponder and Blanche Buchanan Ponder.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Ronald Jones of North Barrington, Illinois; granddaughter, Leshia Hoot of Austin; grandsons and wives, Eric and Carrie Jones of Chicago, Illinois, Ryan and Pascuala Jones of Buffalo Grove, Illinois and Mark and Kristy Jones of Cary, Illinois; son-in-law, Thomas Hoot of Dallas; and great-grandchildren, Anabel Jones, Keaton Jones and Cameron Jones.
