CASHTON, Wis.
Alvin Clark, 57, rural Cashton, died of cancer Wednesday, March 19, in the La Crosse Lutheran Hospital. He was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Dell, to Oscar and Fern (Miller) Clark, and married Lorraine Olson on Aug. 8, 1942.
He was a veteran of World War II, and farmed in the Cashton area. Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Lynn) Martin of Novi, Mich., Mrs. Dennis (Kathryn) Kayon of McFarland and Mrs. John (Barbara) Opsahl of Cashton; one son, Larry of Arlington, Wash.; six granddaughters; four sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Glida) Hankins, Mrs. Bonnie Dunnum, Mrs.
James (Josephine) Norris, all of La Crosse and Mrs. Clifford (Anna Mae) Wells of Payson, Ariz.; and three brothers, John of Wileox, Ariz., Phillip and Burl, both of Janesville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cashton, with the Rev. Richard Schwenkmeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Dell
Cemetery.
Friends may call at Torkelson's Funeral Chapel, Cashton, Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
