Manuel "Manny" Santonio Baez Sr., 48, of Williamsport, was called home on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, surrounded by his family at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1967, in Ft. Pierce, Fla., he was a son of the late Santos Baez and Sara Hill.

Manny was a 1986 graduate of Loyalsock High School where he was a phenomenal football and basketball athlete and proud Loyalsock Lancer Alumni.

On Aug. 8, 1992, Manny married the love of his life Kendra Brewer and together they celebrated 23 years of marriage with one another loving life. Together through their love Manny and Kendra welcomed "Little Manny" Manuel Jr., of Lake Tahoe, Calif., to their family along with Manny's three other greatest blessings, his children, Katrina M. of Manassas, Va., Aisha E.A. of Elmira, N.Y. and Dallas M. of Williamsport.

Manny was a sports fanatic who cheered for the Steelers and Michael Jordan when he played for the Chicago Bulls.

He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and being around others where his, big smile and zest for life showed.

Manny had great passion not only for life but also for his work as he spent the past 10 years as a sales rep for Utz Quality Food.

Anyone who ever met Manny could never forget his contagious, bright smile and his infectious personality. It has been said that Manny had the prettiest smile in all of Williamsport.

Surviving in addition to his wife and children are his seven grandchildren, three brothers, Robert of Williamsport, Louis of Lock Haven, and Randy of Colorado;
a sister, Manuela of Harrisburg;
father and mother-in-law, Richard "Pap" and Donna "Nonny" of Williamsport who loved him like a child of their own.

Manny was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ephraim West.
