Elmer Lee Allen, 78 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015. He was born on January 19, 1937 in Soper, Oklahoma to Elmore Allen and Mary Elizabeth Grace Allen.

He married Judy Maureen Garis in Medford, Oklahoma on June 7, 1958. He graduated from Grant High School and attended Paris Junior College. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force in Air Rescue and was retired from the Paris Fire Department after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Lamar Point Baptist Church. He was also active in the Masonic Lodge and Lamar Point Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Allen, children, Jerry Lee and Connie Allen, Eddie Leroy and Janelle Allen, Kathy Lynne and Greg Woodrow and Shari Leanne and Philip Coker, grandchildren, Crystal Allen, Philip and Desiree Coker, Justin and Rebecah Allen, Luke Woodrow, Melissa and Brandon Allen, Laci Coker, Cari and Ryan Freelen, Ethan Allen and Teresa Peralta, Leia Woodrow and Aviana Woodrow, great-grandchildren, Corbin and Cerenity Allen, Beckham and Brixton Coker, Amberlee and Mally Freelen, Huxley and Gantz Allen and brothers, Emil Lloyd Allen and Agnes of Hugo, Don Allen and Jean of Paris.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, July 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Lamar Point Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Crosswhite officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
