I Dreamed of You Last Night' I dreamed of you last night, up where the angels sing. You had the brightest smile, as you bowed before the King. And still I wanted to hold you, and keep you near my heart. The thought of never seeing you, is tearing me apart. How can I go on living? when part of me has died. And the aching inside of me, compares only to the tears I've cried. God taught me how to love you, taught me to watch as you grow. The lesson that he never taught me, was how to let you go. Every breath I take is agony, every tear I cry is sharp. Please let the angels hold you, as they play upon their harps. I pray with every breath I take, you know that you were loved. And how I asked God each night, to watch you from above. I dreamed of you last night, and together we walked in the sand. And I placed the child I love, into the Father's Hand. - San Angelo Standard Times
