Funeral services for Dan Benton were held Monday, May 16, at the Brazzell Church with R. L. Powell officiating.
Mr. Benton was born January 12, 1888 at Supply and died Saturday, May 14, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Hovis.
He was married to Birdie Brown August 28, 1910 and to this union three children were born, two of whom preceded him in death.
Other than his wife and one daughter he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lue Paddick, Mrs. Myrtle Perrin and Mrs. Eva Emmons, and five grandchildren.
Burial was in Hitt Cemetery with Irby's service.
