He was born April 10, 1886 in Henry County where he was reared and educated. He was married June 27, 1912, to Lillie Smith.
The lived most of their married life in Kansas City where he was employed by the Kansas city Power and Light CO., until he retired in 1945. Following his retirement, they moved to a farm near Sedalia, before moving to Deepwater four years ago.
He was a member of the Deepwater Baptist Church
Had five sons; Six daughters; Thirty-Five grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren
