"Isaac Nelson Crow was born in Murry (sic) county, Georgia August the 3rd, 1826. Died at his home in La Cygne, Kansas April 21st, 1902. Aged 75 years, 8 months and 18 days. He leaves a wife, seven children and a very large circle of friends to mourn his departure. He moved to Alabama in 1856 and during the war of the rebellion he removed to Indiana in 1863 and after a residence of six years in Indiana he emigrated to Missouri and in 1883 he came to Kansas locating in the vicinity of La Cygne where he resided at the time of his death."
