He was born in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of Susan Seagraves Baier and the late Howard Baier.
Ronnie worked for General Refractories for over twenty years. He devoted his life to serving the Lord and preaching Gods word. He was a member of Rockwall United Baptist Church for forty years. Ronnie enjoyed farming and woodworking. He loved animals and sharing his love of nature with his grandchildren. He was a loving father, husband and friend. He will be sadly miss by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Heath Randall Baier; one sister Saundra Baier.
In addition to his mother Ronnie is survived by his wife of forty-five years; Ruby Seagraves Baier; seven sons and daughters-in-law; Eric and Donna Baier; Randall and Kim Baier; Scott and Lisa Baier; Paul and Kellie Baier; Matthew and Melissa Baier all of Grayson, Kentucky; Bruce and Lynn Baier of Ashland, Kentucky; Brian and Lori Baier of Argillite, Kentucky; two daughters and son-in-law; Lisa and Elwood Kitchen; Sharon Baier all of Grayson, Kentucky; twenty-five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; all of whom loved and will miss their papaw very much; four brothers and sisters-in-law; Charles and Shirley Baier; Lewis and Bonnie Baier; Pierce and Trish Baier all of Grayson, Kentucky; James "Bud" and Ruthann Baier of Oldtown, Kentucky; four sisters and brothers-in-law; Gayle and Russell Sparks of Grayson, Kentucky; Patty and John Smith of Greenup, Kentucky; Evelyn Hall of Olive Hill, Kentucky; Christy and Jack Young of Ashland, Kentucky; He also leaves several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
