Services for Blanche T. Helbing, 89, Hannibal Arms Apartments, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Victor J. Keefe Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.

Mrs. Helbing died at 10:45 a.m. November17, 1991, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

She was born July 28, 1902, in Ashburn, to Richard H. and Margie Bellville Tompkins. She was married to Joseph Ernest Helbing. He died August 24, 1961.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Marie Lukes, Livonia, Michigan; three nephews, and five nieces. She was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Ruby Graham and two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Cunningham and Mrs. Willa Potter.

Mrs. Helbing attended the Free Methodist Church in Hannibal and retired in 1969 from C. L. Downey Company.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jum Sanders, Kenny Beckett, Bubby Fogle, Jason Pipkin, Doug Garber and Norval Lott.
