Died of cancer. Daughter of Frank and Blanche Clark Cochran. She lived in several places during her early years, then settled in McMinnville with her family in 1950. She attended school in McMinnville. After her parents died, she moved to Vancouver, WA, to live with her aunt while attending high school. She worked at the Nabisco plant in Portland and for United Airlines at Portland International Airport. She later worked for the Carnation Cannery in Hillsboro for many years. She and Charles Raymond "Ray" Crowe were married Sept. 13, 1974. They moved to Seaside, where she worked at the Fort Crowe Antique Store. She returned to Hillsboro in 1980 and worked at Rose City Paper Box in Portland. She was a member of the Machinist and Boilermaker Union. She enjoyed speaking her mind about politics and world events. Mrs. Crowe loved to collect butterflies, rocks and fossils. She was interested in Bigfoot, horseshoes, collecting spoons and collecting people, her family said. They also described her as "a sports fan like no other". Survivors include her husband, of Hillsboro; two daughters, Erin Webb of Dundee and Korrie Brock of Hillsboro; a son, Erle Bret Schucker of Reno, NV; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Harrison of Hillsboro; three brothers, three sisters and seven grandchildren.
