John Frank Brumlow, 94, of Guyton, died October 4 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Birmingham, AL, on June 7, 1908, to Albert Sydney and Josie Shadwick Brumlow. He worked as chef in the Calhoun area and later for Florida Cycle in Jacksonville for many years. He married Maude Haney in 1925, and she died in 1988. In 1952, he married Frances Philpot, and she died in 1990. He later married Willie Mae Brannen, and she died in 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents; four daughters, Betty, Brenda, Annie Dell, and Charlotte; two sons, John, Jr., and Jessie; a brother, Calvin; and a sister, Esther Mae. Survivors: six daughters, Lillie Mae Simmons, Doris Lackey, Barbara Hodges, Martha Williamson, Carol Ray, Linda Loos, and Sharon Gottuso; three sons, Sydney, Calvin, and Gary Brumlow; sisters, Lola Serritt and Alberta Miller; and five generations of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Sunday at the Massey-Framke Funeral Care in Garden City. Funeral: 11:00 a. m. Monday in the Chapel of Massey-Framke Funeral Care, with the Rev. Chad Lynn officiating.
