Mrs. Holmes was a Protestant by faith. She was a member of Women of the Moose.
She was first married to John Jerson, who is deceased.
Surviving are her husband, William Taft Holmes Sr., and several nieces and nephews. One child died in infancy, and four brothers, John, Ray, Roy and Russell Filby are all deceased.
Friends will be received by the family at the William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, from 7 to 9 PM Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday,, April 23, 1977, at 1 PM by the Rev. Charles Bails. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery.
