Joanne was born on April 19, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Joseph and Gertrude Anderson. Throughout her life she lived in Minneapolis, Sparta, WI, Brooklyn Park, New Hope, Eagan, Askov and Mora. She worked as a homemaker, waitress, cashier and bookkeeper.
Joanne was a member of the Generation Church. She was involved and partnered in many ministries and charitable organizations throughout her life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family members. She enjoyed creating unique works of craft and art for loved ones. She was a talented writer who liked to express her memories and love of the Lord. She also enjoyed movies and took a special liking to the TV show Monk.
Joanne was extremely giving, always giving everything she had. She also had many beloved friends. She truly had a heart of gold and touched many people throughout her life.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Gertrude Anderson. She is survived by 3 sons; David of Brooklyn Park, Daniel (Shelly) of Elk River, Jeffrey (Salesia) of Omaha, Nebraska, 1 daughter; Jennifer (Darrin) Kvam of Mora, 10 grandchildren; Carly, Abby, Sarah, Ellianna, Madelin, Jonathan, Joshua, Grace, Anne, Joseph, 1 brother; Robert (Fran) Anderson, 1 sister; Joyce Venable.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at 4:30PM at Generation Church in Mora with Pastor Bob Herder officiating. Music is being provided by Abby Kvam. Honorary Casketbearers are David Larson, Daniel Larson, Jeffrey Larson, Darrin Kvam, Thomas Anderson, Rick Anderson.
