LANCE CORPORAL WESLEY JOEL CANNING, born April 1, 1983, died Nov. 10, 2004, during his second tour in Iraq. Wes is lovingly remembered by all.
Survivors include his wife, Chayla, her parents: Mark and Corina, and brothers: Nicholas and Kelsey; his parents: Joe and Jo Ellen , and siblings: Amanda, Russell, Liz and Anna.
As well as many extended family members and friends. Wes graduated from Friendswood High School and entered the USMC in 2001.
Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 from 4-7 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home; with funeral services on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at 12:30 PM at Forest Park East Chapel.
