Janice Mae Smith was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, on January 22, 1928 to Ralph and Florence Smith. She had two brothers, Eugene and Howard (Howie). She married the first time in 1948 and had two daughters, Susan and Sharon; in 1956 she married my Dad and had me and my sister Barb. She got cancer in 1991 and we lost her in 1998. I took care of her the last six months of her life. [As you may have guessed, she was my mother.] I now have both her and my Dad's ashes here with me (he died in November 2001).

Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
