SARAH IRENE COX HARRISON, 24, born September 23, l983, and died from injuries suffered in a fatal car accident Wednesday, June 4, 2008. She lived in Lockwood, MO with her husband, Jason, stepdaughter, Jorden and stepson, Walker who survive her. She married Jason Harrison on December 15, 2007. As a member of the Lockwood community, Sarah left her mark by being a very active part of community activities including the athletic programs for young boys and girls. She worked as a certified day care provider at a local daycare where many children grew to know and love her.

Sarah attended school in Stockton and Carthage, MO. graduating in May 2001 from Broken Bow High School in Broken Bow, Nebraska.

Also surviving are Sarah's parents, Carl and Cyndi Cox, Lamar, MO: Shelly Rutledge of Stockton, MO. Brother Jacob Cox, Stockton MO. Step-sisters/brother, Olivia Selzer and fiancé John Moriconi, Girard, KS. Tandi and Jason Owen, Wylie, TX. Gavin (currently serving in Iraq) and Ashley Selzer, Reeds Spring, MO. Surviving Grandparents are Don Rutledge of Stockton, MO. and Dorothy Cox, Jasper, MO. In-laws who survive include Eldon and Cheryl (Daniel) Harrison, Jr., Jeffrey Harrison daughter Lindsay, and Jeremy Harrison daughter Kylea, fiancé Courtney Divine of Lockwood, Mo. Grandmother-in-law Norma Daniel of Greenfield, MO

Visitation will be Sunday 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Lockwood Funeral Home. Services will be Monday at the Lockwood Christian Church at 10:00 a.m. with Ron Lake officiating, and burial at King's Point Cemetery. Donation may be made to the Quality Child Care of Lockwood in memorial of Sarah. Those donations will be used towards playground equipment and supplies for the children she loved.
