On April 16, 1927, he married the former Catherine Belle Coro in Portland, and remained married until her death on May 8, 1960.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Richard Crawford who passed away on August 10, 1932, and a daughter Laura Courtois who passed away on December 6, 1964.
Surviving are two sons Edward Crawford and his wife Lillian of Londonderry, NH. and Paul Crawford of Portland, and two daughters Marjorie Brown and her husband Al and Esther Tibbetts, both of Portland, ME. A sister, Katherine Martin and her husband Paul of Portland, and four brothers Lawson Crawford of Sebago, ME, Bradford Crawford of Falmouth, ME., Fred Crawford of the Panama Canal, and Myron Crawford of Portland, ME. and many grandchildren.
