Born in Amsterdam, N.Y. to John Joseph Leddick and Etta Goldthwaite Leddick. Survived by four grandaughters, Lorraine Peter, Betty Peterson, Gloria Loomis and Meredith Bradley. Also great grandchildren, Deborah Peter, Theresa Peter Cursh, Tracy Peter Smith, Jeffrey Loomis, Jennifer Loomis Anderson, Doreen Amber Loomis, Tamara Bradley, John Bradley II and Jerod Bradley. Great-Great Grandchild, Kara Peter.
Her only child, Mildred Sablon Brown Blair preceeded her in death on Nov. 14, 1979 as well as Great Grandson Scott William Peter.
Amber was a member of the Burlington Flats Baptist Church, Home Bureau and served her church and community well.
Amber passed away in her sleep the day after her 88th birthday at her home in Burlington Flats.
Since her passing her family has grown to include Great-Great Grandchildren Courtney Amber Smith, Andrea Cursh Cummings, Ethan Peter-Smith, Marshall Smith and Adam Anderson. Five Great-Great-Great Grandchildren Ronald Cummings, Jadeyn PeterSpaulding, Kayleigh Cummings, Brooklyn PeterSpaulding and Kelsy Cummings, Evarliee Smith, and Kasen Smith, Kenzlee Cummings.
