Fred C. Jones, 102, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at his home.

Born March 25, 1904, in Knox County, Ky., he was the son of the late Dr. Tipton and Lucy Jones. He was a member of Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Versa Atkins Jones; and two sons-in-law, Joseph Casagrande and Clarence Mullikin.

Survivors include his wife of 44-years, Rose A. Jones, Harrogate; daughters, Gerri Casagrande and Josephine Casagrande, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Bill Atkins, Dry Ridge, Ky.; grandchildren, Stephanine Dickerson, Claiborne County, Tenn., Mike Casagrande, Jill Casagrande, Kim Casagrande, Amy Rohr, and Randy Mullikin, all of Cincinnati, Eric Atkins, Erlanger, Ky., David Atkins, Austin, Texas, Kim Atkins, Loredo, Texas, and Dennis Atkins, El Paso, Texas; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends; and special friends, Billy and Jewell Elam.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Jones, the Rev. Clint Goodin, and the Rev. Carl Atkins presiding. Music will be provided by the Fuson Chapel Church choir.

Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Pallbearers will be relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
