Christopher Ackermann, 61 years old, died Friday at the family home, on the Smithton road. He was born near this city on the Carlyle road, May 20, 1850, and was married to Miss Mary Kraus in 1877.
She survives with the following children:
Mrs. Emma Beisiegel, Smithton Road
Mrs. Anna Voelkel, Carlyle Road
William Ackermann, at home
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. Hosto of Smithton will have charge of the services.
