Mrs. Caroline Acordi, 69, died of heart trouble in her home on North 60th Street, at 6:30 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Acordi, who observed her birthday anniversary on Monday, had been ailing for almost 20 years.

She was born in Shiloh Valley Township on December 11, 1870, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Worms, nee Magdalena Christ. Her mother was a native of Illinois; her father a native of Missouri. She married Joseph Acordi, Sr., in Belleville on August 1, 1896.

Surviving besides her husband, a prominent coal miner, are two sons and three daughters;

Funeral at 3 p.m. Monday from the Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Rev. A. E. Reiss, pastor of the Christ Evangelical Church, will officiate.
