Graveside services will held Thursday at West Side Cemetery at 10 a.m. for Earl McDaniels, 79, of 414 Rose Ave., who died Monday in Taft. He was born Jan. 1, 1900 in Campbell, Missouri and had lived in Taft for 34 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from the Honolulu Oil Company. Survivors are his wife, Fannie of Taft; six children; Francis Ozburn, Belridge; Dorothy Chitwood, Belridge; Earline Johnson, Bakersfield; Betty Batson, Montana; Nancy Page, Ventura; Richard McDaniels, Taft; and 17 grandchildren. Rev. Bill Harrison of the First Baptist Church will officiate and Taft Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
