Case. 300
Last Will and Testament of Frederico Arena
I, Frederico Arena (sometimes spelled Frederick Arena) of the City of Baltimore and State of Maryland, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say:
First: I direct my executor herein after named, to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses.
Second: I give and bequeath unto each of my two daughters, Tomasa Cusimano and Josephine Liberto, the respective sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) each, and in the event that my personal estate shall be inadequate or insufficient for the payment of these two bequests, then and in that event the same shall be a charge on any real estate of which I am die seized or possessed; the reason for my making these two bequests is because of the many extra acts of kindness to me by these two daughters and also of the many small financial advances made to me by them during my lifetime.
Third: All the rest and residue of my estate, real, personal and mixed and whosesoever situate, I give, devise and bequeath, share and share alike to my four daughters, Concetta Fiorentino, Tomasa Cusimano, Josephine Liberto and Anna D’Amico, and unto my step-son Vincenzo Palmisano, the son of my late deceased wife, by her first husband to the end that all five of them shall each of them have a one fifth interest in the residue of my estate.
Fourth: I hereby constitute and appoint my son-in-law, Joseph Liberto of the City of Baltimore, to be the executor of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed name and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of April in the year nineteen hundred and twelve.
Frederico Arena
