Charles Warren “Chuck” Hull, age 64, of Monett, MO, passed away Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015 at Cox-Monett Hospital after a sudden illness.

Chuck was born on June 26, 1951 in Dade County, MO, son of the late Bill Ray and Thelma (Stevenson) Hull. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Lombard on September 28, 1974 in Monett. Chuck is survived by his wife Marilyn, of the home; his son, John Hull, of Monett; his daughter, Susan Dotson, and husband Mark, of Cassville; one brother, Dale Hull, of Willard, MO; two sisters, Norma Botdorf, of Camdenton, MO and Mary Turner and her husband Bill, of Independence, MO; four grandchildren, Kodi Dotson, Kristen Scott, Kira Dotson and Miranda Hull.

Chuck was a Gold Card member of the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ Local 518 for over forty years and had attended the First Free Will Baptist Church in Monett. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed playing pool and always loved to give a helping hand, especially with Habitat for Humanity. Chuck was a devoted family man, always adoring his wife and loving his kids and grandkids. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Funeral services for Mr. Hull will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett. Reverend Ken Dodson will officiate. Interment will be in the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
