RED BAY, AL-Charles C. Aters, 65, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1948, in Missouri to Arthur William and Lille Marie Rose Aters. He had previously worked in oil fields and did farm labor, before becoming disabled. He enjoyed watching football, wrestling, grilling outside, and being around his family.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 p. m. Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church near Tremont with Bro. Ron Humbers officiating. McNeece – Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one brother, Keith Alan Aters (Charity); one sister-in-law, Melissa Aters, both of Tremont; a special friend, Wayne Hornback of Plano, Iowa; three nieces, Carolyn Marie "Cat" Aters, Brittney Aters, and Kaitlin Aters; two nephews, Kenny Boone Aters and Christopher Lee Aters; and his uncle, Lou Rose.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Danny "Goose" Aters, and his parents.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the Church.
