Well Known Woman Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack - 71 Years Old
The funeral of Mrs. Ida M. Bratton, aged 71 years, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at her home in Cannelville, with Rev. C. E.McCormick officiating. Burial will be at Duncan Falls.
Mrs. Bratton died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday while sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch of her home. She was born at Duncan Falls, a daughter of Stephen and Duana Waxler Neff, pioneer residents of that vicinity. She had lived in the Cannelville community for the last 40 years. Surviving are two sons, Charles Bash of Cannelville, and Jacob Bash, this city; a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Duvall of the home; three brothers, Fielden Neff of Crooksville, and Henry Neff of Cannelville; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Worthington, Crooksville, four grand-children and three great-grand children. The body has been returned to the residence from Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home, Roseville.
