Elaine M. (Anderson) Antonucci, of Melrose, died at her home on March 5, 2014 at the age of 77. Elaine was born in Chelsea, raised in Melrose and attended Melrose High School. She went on to get her license and study cosmetology in Toronto & New York and was the owner of Salon 202 in Melrose for many years before her retirement in 1999 at the age of 58. Elaine was a member of Incarnation Church in Melrose for many years and volunteered her time helping her clients and close friends. Elaine was a tremendous cook and would feed everyone that came through her door. She loved to travel with her husband and family while spending her summers in Ogunquit, ME with her grandchildren and friends. Elaine enjoyed watching and playing golf & tennis and was an avid Boston Sports fan. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Antonucci. Loving mother of Laura Foster & her husband Rob of Florida and the late Alan Antonucci and the late Dean Antonucci & his wife Marcella Antonucci of N. Reading. Devoted sister of Joanne Johnson & her husband Howard of Melrose, Arthur Anderson & his wife Patricia of FL. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Joseph, Corin, Robert, Michael, Ryann and A.J. and great grandmother of Ava. Best friend of Sandra DellaRusso of Lynnfield. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Incarnation, 429 Upham St., Melrose on Saturday, March 8th at 12PM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elaine's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
