Annie was the daughter of Cale B Horner and Minnie May Parris of the Cherokee Nation. Annie's mother, Minnie passed away shortly after her birth and she was raised by her grandmothers, Elizabeth (Betsy) Dobbins Parris and Mary Marceline Breedlove Horner. Annie attended school in Glenpool Oklahoma and loved to play basketball. She married Loney Bruner of the Creek Nation and had 6 children; 4 daughters and 2 sons. Annie contracted tuberculosis in early 40's and passed away after a long battle with the disease at her home with her family by her side.
