Ted passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1938 in Lodi California. A longtime resident of the Easton area, Ted moved to Fresno in 2011 when he retired from his ceramic tile contracting business and raisin farm. Ted is survived by his wife, Marlene Christensen, of 54 years; children and their spouses, Ted and Katie Christensen, Cindy and Brian Berg, Phillip and Dorothy Christensen; grandchildren, TJ, Taylor, Ross, Jason, Spencer, Turner, Hannah, Slater and his faithful dog Moe. A Celebration of Ted's life will be held graveside at the Washington Colony Cemetery, 7318 S. Elm Avenue, on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a Memorial Donation be made in Ted's memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
