He was a lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident. Alexis worked as a Field Radio Operator USMC. He was in active duty USMC 3 years.
Survivors include his parents; Rogelio and Maharta Alcaraz, sisters; Becky, Alondra and Damaris Alcaraz, grandmothers; Delia Quintero and Maria Dolores Olivo.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rosendo Zaragoza and Miguel Alcaraz.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at Sutter Community Church, 2900 Acacia Ave., Sutter, CA with Pastor Jose Paz, officiating.
Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery with full military honors by the US Marine Corp.

Officials have identified the Marine who died after collapsing during a training hike at Camp Lejeune on the North Carolina coast.
Local media outlets report that the Marine Corps this weekend released the name of 22-year-old Corporal Alexis Aaron Alcaraz of Sacramento, Calif. Alcaraz lost consciousness early Thursday during the hike and was pronounced dead at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune.
Alcaraz served with the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines. Officials say Alcaraz was a decorated active-duty Marine who also had served in San Diego, Camp Pendleton, California, Twentynine Palms, California and Okinawa, Japan. He had been at Camp Lejeune less than a year.
