Birth: Jun. 4, 1796
Virginia, USA
Death: Nov. 21, 1874
Richmond City
Virginia, USA

He was a dealer in real estate and built houses. He also owned a brick yard that occupied the block on the north side of W. Leigh St. between Goshen and Gilmer streets. His bricks were used to construct the First Baptist Church in Richmond where he was a deacon (now Hunton Hall, the student center for the Virginia Commonwealth University). His son, T.C. Williams, and grandson, Adolph Dill Williams, were two of the wealthiest tobacconists in Richmond.
