∼From the book, The Fighting Men of Oklahoma: CPT Anderson enlisted in the service at Ft. Logan CO on Sept. 18, 1913. He received his service training at Ft. Logan and was then sent to the Philippine Islands. CPT Anderson served with General Pershing in Mexico for 7 months during the Mexican Revolution in 1916 and during WWI served in the AEF for 18 months, For 15 years he commanded Btry. B, 158th FA, 45th Div. When WWII broke out, he was sent to England with the 33rd Service Group AAF, 79th Air Corps arriving overseas Oct. 9, 1942. He was reported lost on Aug. 27, 1943 in the ETO and is buried at Cambridge England.
