He was born Dec 15, 1944, in Lewisburg, Pa., a son of the late William Donald Felker and Grace M (Walter) Felker of Beaver Springs, Pa. In 1991, he married the former Lynne Garcia. Earlier in Life, he had been married to the former Elaine "Chuckie" Ervy of Corning, NY.
Mr Felker was a member of Beaver Lutheran Church, Beaver Springs.
He graduated fron West Snyder High School, Class of 1962. He graduated from Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in auto mechanics,
From 1964-1966, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Bendix, Corning, NY where he is known for perfecting feul injection technology. in 1972, he moved to Detroit, Mich., to work for General Motors as the national representative for feul injection, until 1984 when he was rendered a quadriplegic in an automobile accident.
He enjoyed hunting, working with his computer, was an avid NASCAR fan, traveling and he also loved being with people, which he touched by making them feel comfortable with his condition.
In addition to his mother , he is survived by a daughter, Denise R Lynch of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a son, Michael D Felker of Brownstone, Mich; two granddaughters, Abby M and Megan Felker; amd a sister Nancy L Aurand of Beavertown.
Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Wednesday at Aurand Funeral Home, 316 W Market St., Beavertown by the Rev. David Smith.
Interment will be in the Adamsburg Cemetery, Beaver Springs.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 pm Tues at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 9 pm
