On October 26, 1865, in Frederick County, she married George Washington Albaugh, son of John W. and Elizabeth Ann Hyder Albaugh. They were the parents of 9 children: Harvey C., John William, Etta M., Bertha F., Harry Vinson, Rose Ellen, Doran Edwin, Margie A. and George L. Albaugh. Sarah passed away November 9, 1905, in Frederick County, and was buried in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery, Rocky Ridge, Frederick County, Maryland.
