Jenny Hedges was the youngest child of Cathleen "Sissy" Williams (nee Holmes). Her father was (Albert) Douglas Hedges. She was a tough, loyal, and free spirited woman who led an unconventional life, from the time she was very young until she passed away at the age of almost 38.

Much of her childhood (and adulthood, really) was spent in Seattle where she, as the baby sister, learned from her two older brothers how to navigate the city. However, she also spent some of her teenage years living in Clearview as well as her Aunt's POA ranch in Duvall. It was there that she developed her life-long love and passion for horses.

In 1975, Jenny's first daughter, Amy Fischer, was born, Followed five years later by Sarah Bovee in 1980, Shannon Keechi in 1985 and Harley Dyke (her only son) in 1992.

Jenny lived in Oklahoma off and on during the 1980's where she competed for fun in local Playdays in the barrel racing and team calf-roping events. Upon returning to Seattle, she put her mechanical aptitude to work, becoming a welder, working at shipyards in Seattle. This led her to eventually take a position on a commercial processor as cook and deck hand.

Jenny was known for her warm heart, her willingness to share with anyone who needed anything, and her strength and individuality.

Jenny is survived by two brothers, one sister, four children, and eight grandchildren.
