Deacon Jonathan Bohonon (Bohonan, Bohanan), was a farmer and lived for some years in Vermont, but about 1808-09 returned to New Hampshire, living in Springfield, NH., Temple, NH., and Sutton, NH. He was very active in church affairs. He married in 1800, to Dorothy Wells, who was born in Sandown, NH., on 21 April 1776. Dea. Jonathan died in Temple, NH., on 4 Feb 1861. Dorothy (Wells), also known as "Dolly" died 10 Nov 1855.
Both are burieds in Sutton Mills Cemetery, South Sutton, NH.

Jonathan Bohonon was the son of Ananiah & Shuah(Fifield) Bohonon, he and his wife Dolly had seven children, they are:
