Joseph Sabasavage, 319 Newcastle St., Minersville, died suddenly at his home Tuesday afternoon.
Born in Lithuania, he was a resident of Minersville for 28 years. He was a member of St. Francis Church, and the Lithuanian R. C. Alliance of America. He had been employed as a miner.
Surviving are his wife, Ursula Arminas Sabasavage; four daughters, Adele, wife of Leo Rosa; Catherine, wife of Alfred White, both of White Plains N. Y.; Margaret, wife of Albert Bartolouzzi, Croton-on-Hudson, N. Y.; Valeria, wife of John Purcell, at home; one son, Joseph, Minersville; one sister Mrs. Michael Bieksis, Philadelphia, and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral Saturday morning from his late home. Solemn requiem mass in St. Francis Church, and interment in the parish cemetery. The Hahn Funeral Service has charge.
