SERVICES SUNDAY FOR WILLIE E. WILLIAMS
Funeral services for Willie E. (Bill) Williams, 80, will be at 2 p.m., Sunday in Madison Avenue Baptist church with Rev. Finis O'Neal officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He died early Friday in an Enid nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Born on a farm near Iola, Kan., he moved with his parents to Oklahoma and attended school at Perkins. He farmed in Ellis County before moving to Hennessey in 1929, then lived in Colorado for nine years before moving to the Enid-Drummond area in 1941. He retired in 1953, making his home in Enid with his children. He was preceded in dealth by a daughter and two sisters.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elvin (Geneva) Wheeler of Enid and Mrs. Dale (Lillian) Wartick of Waukomis; three sons, John of Drummond, Cloyd of Enid and Bill of Alameda, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, and a brother.
