Helen Elizabeth Schonewolf Pieri, 72, of Drexel Hill, Upper Darby, a former employee of Delaware County Memorial Hospital, died Feb. 4 at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Pieri lived in the Drexel Hill section since 1953. She worked as a dietary assistant at Delaware County Memorial Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1988.
A member of Riverview Presbyterian Church since 1953, she served there as a deacon and choir member.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Jack J. Pieri; two daughters, Patricia H. Sullivan of Lantana, Fla., and Lynne G. Pieri-Finn of Reston, Va.; two sons, Joseph H. Pieri of Simsbury, Conn., and Steven D. Pieri of New Castle, Del.; a brother, Charles Schonewolf of West Chester; a sister, Dorothy Weisel of Collegeville and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Riverview Presbyterian Church, Garrett and Riverview roads, Drexel Hill, where there are calling hours after 9:30 a.m. Burial follows in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
