Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Santa (Strafach) Ferraro.
Grace had been employed as an inspector at BDA before retiring. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the Calabrese Society, and a volunteer at the Westerly Senior Center. She was most proud to have five generations of her family living in town.
Surviving are three sons, William F. Gingerella, Angelo P. Gingerella, and Angelo P. Comforti, all of Westerly; a daughter, Lucille Sposato of Westerly; one brother, Nicholas Ferraro of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one sister, Mary Augeri of Westerly; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Gingerella Sr.; four brothers, Peter, Angelo, John, and Guiseppe; and by three sisters, Julia, Theresa and Minnie.
Calling hours were respectfully omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Friday, at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. Burial was in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
