Louise Irene Fincham, daughter of Jack Eugene and Myrtle Esther Sutton Fincham, was born March 13, 1930 along with her twin sister Lois Ilene at the farm home 4 miles east of Blue Rapids, KS and Louise passed away Jan. 8, 1972 at the age of 41 yrs., 9 months, and 26 days after a long battle with cancer.
Louise graduated from Blue Rapids High School in May 1947. After attending Kansas State University, she taught at the Bigelow and Irving schools. She resided in Marysville several years, during which time she was active on the Marysville Merchants Softball team and was employed at the Marshall County A.S.C.S. office.
She moved to Manhattan where she lived the most part of her life. She was employed at Fort Riley in the Purchasing and Contracting Department and was a member of the Manhattan VFW Post Auxiliary and participated in a bowling league until her medical retirement in 1970. Since that time she made her home with her parents where she had been cared for by her parents, brother, and sisters. Other relatives, friends and neighbors helped maker her life more pleasant during this trying time.
She was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Manhattan after her transfer from the United Methodist Church of Blue Rapids, KS.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her twin, Lois Ilene Wedekind, Manhattan, KS; her brother, Arthur Eugene Fincham, Blue Rapids, KS and her twin sisters, Lova Hattie Kraft, Marysville, KS and Lola Jessie Thompson, Wichita, KS.
She was preceded in death by one niece.
Burial was at Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Blue Rapids, KS
